Whether you are one of the 1000+ participants or one of the 150,000+ attendees, there is nothing quite like the exhilaration of Houston's annual Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Pride Parade. As America's original nighttime Pride Parade and the largest annual GLBT event in the Southwest, it holds a unique place in the hearts of Houstonians and the many visitors who come to the Parade from throughout Texas and Louisiana and from other parts of the country.
The Parade is a thrill for spectators all the way down Westheimer from Dunlavy to Crocker. Throughout the route, the Parade is an empowering blend of light, color and sound with beautiful floats, costumes and performances.
Attendees will find a number of resources here, including viewing tips and information about this year's awards and Grand Marshals.
Participating in the Parade is also quite a rush. It's a mile of beautiful, diverse, packed crowds all screaming and applauding for you.
Participating groups will find the application and rules for entry into the Parade here, along with their places in the Parade line up and a "how to" guide for preparing their entries.
