Houston Pride Festival

The annual Pride Festival is a multi-block celebration of the GLBT community. Featuring a variety of performers on a number of different stages, the Pride Festival is a great way to experience the community, learn about it's history, and visit the many booths from local vendors and organizations.

Houston Pride Parade

The Houston Pride Parade is the only night-time parade in the US and is the follow-up to the Pride Festival earlier in the afternoon. With the steady stream of floats, the Parade is representative of the vastness of the GLBT community and its supporters drawing a crowd of over 150,000.

Pride Houston FASHION

The Fashion Show is a Pride Houston annual event that brings together the latest trends in GLBT Fashion, featuring the hottest lines from independent designers. Proceeds benefit Club 5000, a program that helps support the GLBT Health and Wellness Pavilion during the annual Pride Festival.

Dine With Pride

Pride Houston and Friends of Pride are pleased to present this recurring annual event which combines a social atmosphere, a variety of wines and wine vendors from around the world, and a silent auction with proceeds benefitting PrideHouston.

Houston Pride Idol

Following in the tradition of American Idol, Houston Pride Idol is an exciting 7-week song-filled event leading up to the annual Pride Festival and Parade. Contestants from the greater Houston area compete for a number of prizes, with the winner performing at the Pride Festival.

Pride Houston Wine Tasting

Pride Houston and Friends of Pride are pleased to present this recurring annual event which combines a social atmosphere, a variety of wines and wine vendors from around the world, and a silent auction with proceeds benefitting PrideHouston.

National Coming Out Day

National Coming Out Day s an internationally-observed civil awareness day for coming out and discussion about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered issues. It is observed on October 11 every year by members of the GLBT communities and their supporters. Pride Houston organizes a social mixer for the occasion which includes a live auction which benefits Friends of Pride and the Montrose Counseling Center.
